Meet Hazel, our dedicated Lead Registered Nurse with over 7 years of invaluable experience in the healthcare and dermatology sector. Having served in both metropolitan and rural hospitals, including the esteemed Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Hazel has honed her skills in surgical/vascular, plastics, and dermatology specialties.

With a passion for skincare and a keen eye for detail, Hazel spent over 3 years collaborating closely with renowned cosmetic dermatologists in Brisbane. During this time, she gained extensive experience working alongside dermatologists in various procedures, including biopsies, excisions, skin grafts and laser treatment.

Hazel serves as the second hand to Dr. Wagner at The Skin Lab, ensuring that all procedures and post procedure cares are meticulously looked after and executed with utmost care. Additionally, she takes on the role of mentoring new nurse staff, sharing her expertise and guiding them to uphold the clinic’s high standards of patient care.

At The Skin Lab, Hazel’s expertise shines as she leads the nursing team with precision and compassion. Her wealth of experience and deep understanding of dermatological procedures make her an invaluable asset to both the team and the clients seeking top-notch skincare solutions. 

In her pursuit of continuous learning and professional development, Hazel is passionate about skincare and cosmetic procedures. She is currently being mentored by Dr. Jenkins and Senior Dermal Therapists to master all laser treatments, further enhancing her skills, and expanding the services offered at The Skin Lab.

Beyond her professional endeavours, Hazel enjoys leading a balanced lifestyle. You can often find her at the gym, staying active and maintaining her well-being.
