Coolwaves, formed from microwave technology, penetrates deeply into the subdermal fat layer to disrupt subcutaneous fat cells. This fat is then released and processed by your body’s normal filtration process.

Great! We look forward to welcoming you to The Skin Lab. Prior to your treatment, we recommend you avoid moisturising the area to aid in treatment penetration. We encourage you to remain hydrated pre- and post-all body contouring treatments to support your lymphatic system’s removal of fat cells.

During your Coolwaves treatment, your treatment area will be marked out and a glycerine will be applied. Your clinician will then apply the Coolwaves handpiece to your treatment area and begin circular motions for at least 10 minutes. The treatment is completely painless with a warming sensation on the treatment area.

There is no downtime associated with this treatment with some patients experiencing redness or swelling that will shortly subside.
