CoolPeel delivers co2 fractional ablative treatments, minimising the risk of demarcation lines, hyperpigmentation, and infection. The downtime is typically minimal – ask our staff for more information for your skin. This “cool” technology doesn’t rely on excessive heat, safeguarding the surrounding tissue.

Both types of laser treatments produce impressive results, with co2 known as the gold standard in laser resurfacing, offering big results in a single treatment without the costs, downtime and risk trade off. CoolPeel goes one step further than traditional techniques, offering even faster outcomes with minimal risk and recovery time.

CoolPeel is suitable for all skin types and ideal for those looking to reduce fine lines, sun damage, minimise pores, treat acne scars, or enhance skin texture. Popular treatment areas include the face, eye area, neck, decolletage, and arms.

Generally, we recommend 3-4 CoolPeel CO2 treatments, spaced about 4 weeks apart. Visible improvements are noticeable within a week of the first treatment, with the most significant results appearing within 2-3 months. This treatment protocol still equates to less downtime than typical CO2 treatments, making it perfect for clients who are time poor or looking for a treatment they can fit into their lunch break. Before your treatment, we’ll thoroughly cleanse your skin to remove all makeup and sunscreen. The treatment is usually well-tolerated, with an anaesthetic cream applied 15-20 mins prior to treatment to make it virtually painless. During your consultation, any additional pre-treatment steps based on your health history or skin concerns will be discussed.

The CoolPeel Laser Treatment takes around 15 minutes for a full face treatment, meaning you’re in and out of the office within the hour for each treatment.

A cold air blower helps with any potential discomfort during the treatment. Ice can also be used to further cool the skin and reduce potential swelling.

After a CoolPeel treatment, expect minimal downtime, usually between 1-3 days, but ask your clinician for more information based on your skin. The redness you’ll experience is similar to a sunburn and should not disrupt your daily activities. Your skin may feel dry and scaly as it heals, so remember to keep it hydrated and avoid picking or scratching.

Traditional CO2 treatment downtime is 7-10 days, however, CoolPeel downtime can be just 24 hours.
