How many treatments do I need?
After any of our peel treatments, your skin will reveal visible results. Like any skin treatment, the more consistent you are, the better your long-term results will be. We recommend a series of peels to achieve optimal results which will be prescribed by your clinician.
I’m booked in for a treatment! Do I need to do anything beforehand?
Great! We look forward to welcoming you to The Skin Lab. Prior to some of our peels, a course of Vitamin A or pigment-reducing serums may be recommended to prep and strengthen your skin. This will be discussed during your consultation prior to treatment.
What can I expect afterwards?
Following all of our peel treatments, your skin will appear smoother, softer and visibly radiant. Depending on the peel treatment you receive, you may experience some mild sensitivity and/or shedding for several days. Others, you will simply notice a beautiful brightening and hydrated effect. All post-treatment advice and outcomes will be shared extensively with you by your expert therapist prior to your treatment, so you can have peace of mind that any possible outcomes fit in with your expectations and schedule.
