Vanessa Hand

Vanessa thinks in treatment journeys rather than just individual appointments. With more than 15 years in dermal therapy and laser, she has developed a particularly strong understanding of how skin should be prepared, when to build treatment intensity and when recovery or restoration is just as important as doing more.

Her experience is backed by considerable industry recognition and education. Vanessa was named Queensland Dermal Therapist of the Year for seven consecutive years and later ranked among Queensland’s top dermal therapists during her time with Artisan Aesthetic Clinics. She holds a Diploma in Beauty Therapy and is a qualified Laser Safety Officer on top of her Queensland laser licence.

One of the things that stands out about Vanessa is the way she thinks about skin. She does not see treatments as isolated events. She thinks about sequence, preparation, recovery and the bigger picture of what someone is trying to achieve. That clinical reasoning is balanced by an easy rapport. Vanessa is confident and knowledgeable, and enjoys building the kind of ongoing relationships where a skin plan can evolve over time.
