Thread Lift

A Silhouette Soft® thread lift can help lift and reposition facial tissue, improve facial definition and create a firmer, more refreshed appearance, without surgery. The treatment uses absorbable medical threads placed beneath the skin to provide support and stimulate the skin’s natural collagen production.

Silhouette Soft consultations and treatments at The Skin Lab are conducted by Dr Heather Jenkins, who is trained in this thread system. During your consultation, Dr Jenkins will assess your facial structure and concerns, explain how the treatment works, and discuss whether it may be suitable for you.

Your doctor will also explain what the procedure involves, how to prepare, potential risks and side effects, recovery, and the results you may reasonably expect.

Book a consultation with Dr Jenkins to discuss whether a Silhouette Soft thread lift may be suitable for you.

Due to TGA advertising requirements, we are unable to publish pricing for some treatment options. Your practitioner will discuss suitable options and provide pricing during your consultation. The consultation fee with Dr Heather Jenkins is $210 and is not redeemable against treatment. Treatment recommendations and costs will be discussed following your individual assessment.

What to expect

How does a Thread Lift work?

Silhouette Soft uses absorbable medical threads placed beneath the skin to support and reposition facial tissue. The treatment may provide an initial lifting effect and stimulate collagen production over time. Individual responses and the duration of results vary.

What are the benefits?

Silhouette Soft thread lift may provide a lifting effect and improve the appearance of skin laxity and facial definition. Treatment may be considered for the jawline, brows and other areas of the face. Individual suitability and reasonable expected outcomes will be discussed during consultation.

What concerns may a thread lift address?

Thread lift may be considered for mild to moderate skin laxity or reduced facial definition. Depending on your anatomy and clinical assessment, areas that may be considered include mild facial skin laxity, reduced jawline definition and brow or upper-face laxity. Dr Jenkins will assess whether this treatment or another option may be appropriate for your concerns.

How many treatments do I need?

The number of treatments required depends on your facial anatomy, treatment goals and clinical assessment. Dr Jenkins will recommend an individual treatment plan during consultation. Some people may notice an initial lifting effect, with changes developing over time. The extent and duration of results vary between individuals.

I’m booked in for a treatment! Do I need to do anything beforehand?
